About this Gateway
EURAMET is the European Association of National Metrology Institutes. Its mission is to develop and disseminate an integrated, cost effective and internationally competitive measurement infrastructure for Europe. EURAMET implements and manages research programmes, including the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR) and the European Partnership on Metrology (Metrology Partnership). These are co-funded by participating states and the European Union.
Gateway Areas
The European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR) is implemented and managed by EURAMET and is co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and the EMPIR participating states. EMPIR aims to address grand challenges including health, industry, energy and the environment, while supporting and developing the SI system of measurement units. This gateway hosts the articles published on Open Research Europe stemming from EMPIR.
The European Partnership on Metrology (Metrology Partnership) is implemented and managed by EURAMET and is co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme and the participating states. The Metrology Partnership aims to bring together the measurement science community and stakeholders to deliver on global challenges including health and climate, support the European Green Deal, and underpin innovation in industry through collaborative research. This gateway hosts the articles published on Open Research Europe stemming from the Metrology Partnership.
